Frequently Asked Questions

Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.

Pilates-based PT utilizes Pilates machinery, such as the reformer and tower, to assist with physical therapy treatment. We work together to treat the whole body and incorporate elements of mind/body connection. There is an emphasis on core strengthening, pelvic floor integration, and building a strong foundation for all of life's activities.

Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized type of physical therapy that focuses on the muscles and nerves in and around the pelvis. It has been found to be highly beneficial for improving a variety of pelvic issues, including urinary/bowel incontinence, painful sex, prolapse, as well as other conditions.

At our first session together, we'll discuss your goals and intentions for PT. We'll talk through your health history and current/previous conditions or injuries. The physical assessment will then provide information about your posture, movement patterns, and how your muscles/joints are functioning. From there, we'll collaborate on a plan for treatment and our future sessions together.

Please wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.
